The City of Fort Lauderdale is highlighting the homes of residents who have creatively decorated for the holidays. 

Get those decorations out of storage and get ready to decorate for our annual Holiday Decoration Contest. Deck your walls, rooftops, doors, and yards with the brightest of lights and show us your holiday spirit.

While we will post photos of the entries, we encourage our residents to spend an evening touring the City to view the homes in person. The true experience of seeing the twinkling lights and beautiful decorations will surely get you in the holiday spirit!

Contest Registration

• Participation and voting in the contest is free.
• Participants must reside within the City of Fort Lauderdale.
• Participants must complete the form below to register for the contest. 
• PLEASE NOTE THE DEADLINE TO SUBMIT YOUR REGISTRATION IS DECEMBER 12, 2025.
  
  

Contest Details

• Entries with the most Facebook likes will be awarded first, second, and third place
• Spectators will be able to view participants on Facebook
• All winners will receive a lawn sign for the front of their home during the next holiday season
  

Voting Period

• December 19, 2025, to January 2, 2026

Winners Announcement

• Winners will be announced after January 16, 2026 on the Holiday Decorating Contest webpage, Facebook, Instagram, and X (formerly Twitter).
