Hall of Fame Improvement Project Underway
Dear Athletes, Members, Neighbors, and Visitors,
Construction has resumed around the Fort Lauderdale Aquatic Center since May 2025. We are currently in phase 1 of the International Swimming Hall of Fame Project. Due to the construction, there may be periodic and unexpected modifications to our services and programs.
During this time, we will do our best to minimize disruptions and maintain the operations of all programs. However, please be prepared for the possibility of temporary adjustments, which may include changes in schedules, availability of certain areas of the facility, temporary closures, parking, traffic, and adjustments for how we conduct our operation.
We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work through this process. Our top priority is ensuring that your experience remains safe and enjoyable during your time here. We will keep you informed of any significant updates or changes as we receive more information as well. Updates will be provided to you on the website or from the coaching staff.
Thank you for being a valued member of our community. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out to us.
Thank you,
FLAC Management and Staff
Construction Updates
11-25-25:
- Seawall piling will be starting 12/1/25. They are setting the parking lot up to start this work (currently taking a handful of spots) with the large crane. Traffic and parking spots will be limited, as they take more spots over from the parking lot.
12-1-25:
- Crane in position, and less space needed then initially told. Have more parking spots, but be aware there is one lane traffic, needing all who enter to yield and be patient going in/out of parking lot.
