Dear Athletes, Members, Neighbors, and Visitors,

Construction has resumed around the Fort Lauderdale Aquatic Center since May 2025. We are currently in phase 1 of the International Swimming Hall of Fame Project. Due to the construction, there may be periodic and unexpected modifications to our services and programs.

The Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show has also started set up, impacting traffic and parking around the Fort Lauderdale Aquatic Center & barrier island. The boat show occurs October 29 to November 2 but does require time for setup and breakdown of this yearly massive event. Be advised parking and traffic to the Fort Lauderdale Aquatic Center will be impacted for a few weeks after the boat show finishes, until sometime in November 2025.

During this time, we will do our best to minimize disruptions and maintain the operations of all programs. However, please be prepared for the possibility of temporary adjustments, which may include changes in schedules, availability of certain areas of the facility, temporary closures, parking, traffic, and adjustments for how we conduct our operation.

We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work through this process. Our top priority is ensuring that your experience remains safe and enjoyable during your time here. We will keep you informed of any significant updates or changes as we receive more information as well. Updates will be provided to you on the website or from the coaching staff.

Thank you for being a valued member of our community. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out to us.

Thank you,

FLAC Management and Staff
