Improvements are coming to Holiday Park! Beginning in May 2026, the City of Fort Lauderdale will begin exciting upgrades including a new playground, dog park improvements, baseball dugout shade enhancements, wayfinding signage, landscaping, and walking trail enhancements for the community to enjoy.

Construction is expected to be completed by summer 2027, weather permitting. During construction, the playground area will remain closed, the existing dog park will be fully closed May 26–28, 2026, and the western portion of the dog park will remain closed for the duration of construction. Portions of the walking paths will also be impacted with posted detours, and elevated noise levels may occur during work hours between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Please follow all posted signs and drive with caution while improvements are underway.
